[connectionnewspapers.com – 2021.12.01] ZIPS Dry Cleaners recently celebrated the grand opening of its new store at 14200-B Centreville Square in the Centreville Square Shopping Center. Enjoying the Nov. 13 festivities were franchise owner Krishna Gondi, wife Beth Flynn and their family. There to support them were Kathleen McMahon, executive vice president of Northern Virginia Family Services, plus members of the Fairfax County Police Department.
This new location offers the same, “in by 9, out by 5” service that ZIPS customers have come to expect. Gondi, a local pharmacist, took the entrepreneurial leap to open his first ZIPS Dry Cleaners in 2015. As a previous customer, he was impressed by the ZIPS business model and customer-centered focus. The Centreville store is his fourth in the area.
Founded in 1996, ZIPS Dry Cleaners is known for its same-day service, one-price business model. Today, there are 68 ZIPS stores in 10 states and Washington, D.C.
