Sankosha USA had its 30th Anniversary Open House from October 14th ~ 15th. During its 3-day festivity, more than 300 customers and authorized dealers paid a visit.
At the open house, Sankosha USA unveiled its new Press Free Finisher and Automatic Folding Machine. “Every drycleaner is having a hard time finding help” said Wesley Nelson, the president of Sankosha USA. “The Press Free Finisher gives you 80~90% finished quality and can process up to 380 pieces an hour.”
The Press Free Finisher has one steam unit in the front and you can add up to 3 drying units. The garments travel on a screw conveyor and at its lowest speed, 160 pieces moves an hour.
The Automatic Folding Machine can fold any item up to 1.2m long. It can fold up to 400 pieces an hour and folded garment can travel to the next station on a conveyor.
“When Sankosha came to 1993 Clean Show in Chicago, it literally shocked the industry accustomed to only cabinet style units,” said Wesley.
“We sold well over 20,000 machines since then. Many of our oldest units approaching 30 years are still in production and in use by our customers.”
For this open house, Mr. Keisuke Uchikoshi, vice president of Sankosha Japan came to join the celebration. “Sankosha was built on tightly knit relationship between our customers and dealers. Once you buy a Sankosha, new or used, you become our family.”
“We became what we are today by continuously innovation and advancing the technology,” said Wesley. “We will maintain that tradition and it is a promise.”
