Royal Oak crime: Armed robbery at dry cleaning store

[ – 2022.04.02] Police are seeking tips as they try to identify a man who implied he had a gun and robbed the Martinizing Dry Cleaners, 1015 S. Main Street, early Friday.

A man entered the business about 7:15 a.m. and told a female clerk to “give me your money,” police said. He had a black piece of cloth or clothing covering one hand and arm as if holding a gun, police said.

The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and he fled from the store.

“It appears he left the area in a vehicle,” said Royal Oak police Lt. Albert Carter.
