New York Machinery Launches Its Own Brand: NYM

Mr. Lee showcased his new brand of dry cleaning machine, during his open house for distributors.

“Now, New York Machinery is a manufacturing company.”

New York Machinery President Namgu Lee made this declaration during an open house event for dealers held on February 7 and 8 at the company’s headquarters in Irvington.

President Lee stated, “Although we cannot disclose the full details yet, we have established an equipment manufacturing plant in China,” adding, “We are producing machines using advanced facilities such as robotic welding systems.”

At the open house, he unveiled the NYM brand, showcasing dry cleaning machines, dry-to-dry washers, steam dryers, and laundromat equipment.

NYM dry cleaning machines are available in various specifications, including cooking & non-cooking and hard-mount & soft-mount configurations. Designed with eco-friendly engineering, they reduce costs while maximizing efficiency.

“We are introducing the NYM brand backed by 15 years of proven technology and finished quality,” Lee said. “We can confidently say these are the most cost-effective machines on the market.”

“For a 35-pound model with basic specifications, we are targeting a retail price in the low $40,000 range.”

NYM brand also offers washers and dryers.

The open house also featured the NYM steam dryer equipped with a smart steam control system. Compared to existing models, it offers unmatched high-efficiency, energy-saving design, and is priced very competitively.

New York Machinery also announced plans to supply commercial washers from Haier, a globally recognized home appliance company based in China, to the U.S. market. Haier commercial washers for coin laundries and OPL (On-Premises Laundry) facilities come standard with advanced control panels and soft-mount systems, offering greater value than typical coin laundry washers currently available on the market.

President Lee added, “Going forward, we will no longer follow a business model that competes with local equipment companies. Instead, we will pursue a model that supports and coexists with equipment companies. We ask for your continued support.”
