New York Machinery is contributing to the industry’s shift toward automation by successfully installing an automatic conveyor system at a large wholesale laundry plant in Brooklyn, New York.

The company announced that in February 2026 it completed the installation of automated assembly system at the production facility of USA Cleaner. The plant is a large-scale wholesaler processing over 4,000 garments per day and reliably handles volumes from more than 40 dry cleaning stores across Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The newly installed automatic conveyor system is positioned in the basement of the facility, which consists of a ground floor and a lower level. Serving as the core infrastructure, the system integrates garment transportation and sorting operations, significantly improving workflow efficiency and overall processing speed.

A key highlight of the project is the implementation of a proprietary barcode printing system developed by New York Machinery. Designed to precisely manage garment intake, tracking, and sorting, the system minimizes loss risk while reducing labor requirements and significantly enhancing operational accuracy.

According to on-site personnel, the introduction of automation has led to a noticeable increase in production capacity. In addition, reduced repetitive workload has positively impacted employee satisfaction.

Since launching its wholesale business in 2018, the plant has maintained steady growth. It currently operates a logistics system utilizing four vans, performing pickups and deliveries twice daily, and processes approximately 4,000 garments per day.

The decision to adopt the system was driven by a recent visit to the Orlando Clean Show. Management has expressed high satisfaction not only with the equipment performance but also with the software support and overall system operation.

Namgu Lee, President of New York Machinery, stated, “We will continue to contribute to improving efficiency and competitiveness in the laundry industry through ongoing technological innovation and automation solutions. This project is also expected to serve as a strong foundation for our client’s future business expansion.”

Industry observers are watching closely to see whether this case will become a model for automation in large-scale wholesale laundry operations.
