Clean Show was held from August 23–26 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. It was the first Clean Show in three years since the 2022 Atlanta event, and an estimated 10,000 industry professionals attended.

The hottest topic at this year’s show was undoubtedly the issue of “price increases in equipment due to Trump tariffs.”

Darren Hages, Vice President of Firbimatic, said, “Until now, drycleaning machines were imported duty-free, but then a 10% tariff was imposed, followed by another 15%. Our company absorbed about half of the increase, but with the tariff set to rise again this October, that will be very difficult to manage.”

One equipment dealer lamented, “Machine prices are skyrocketing. Even a 40-pound model now exceeds $60,000.”

Another notable trend at this year’s Clean Show was that almost every finishing equipment company showcased steam/dry technology. Sankosha exhibited its tunnel finisher, the Press-Free Finisher, while Itsumi, Unipress, and Hi-Steam unveiled cabinet-style steam/dry equipment.

Korea’s LG also drew attention by officially introducing its full commercial lineup. Until now, LG had sold only simple washers and dryers in the U.S., but in Orlando, the company showcased a complete range of commercial washers, dryers, and coin-laundry models.

The next Clean Show will be held in July 2027 in Las Vegas.
