Can you run a business with 100% wetcleaning?

Kimber Cleaners, a 100% wetcleaning shop, will answer questions on Nov. 23rd.

Anyone in the dry cleaning business has probably wondered: “Is it really possible to run a business with 100% wet cleaning?”

Ecotech USA, the company behind the AquaMax Wet Cleaning System, plans to answer that question by hosting an Open House event at a 100% wet-cleaning shop on November 23.

Eui-Seop Kim, president of Ecotech USA, said “Since we handle both dry cleaning and wet cleaning machines, we get this question all the time. Seeing is believing — we invite you to come and see for yourself.”

The event will be held at Kimber Cleaners, a shop that removed its dry cleaning machine last April and installed an AquaMax wet cleaning machine instead.

Owner Jang-Geun Cho explained “My wife and I have always disliked solvent odors, so even while running a dry cleaning business, we constantly researched and experimented with wet cleaning. We used to wash in the afternoon, hang to dry, and press the next morning — that’s how we worked.”

He added “With AquaMax, you can wash, dry (in the dryer), and press — all so easily. That’s why I chose it. It’s as convenient to use as hydrocarbon.”

President Kim noted “Every dry cleaner knows wet cleaning gets clothes cleaner — the real question is whether it can be done as easily as dry cleaning.”

He emphasized “AquaMax not only makes wet cleaning as easy as dry cleaning but also works much faster, while significantly reducing energy use and equipment operating costs.”

The Open House will begin at 2 p.m. on November 23, and all attendees will receive a free sample of AquaMax wet cleaning detergent.
