Owners of the adjacent storefront Bagel Cafe in the Colonial Square shopping center said the shop will be closed Wednesday for cleanup and repairs due to smoke damage sustained in the fire, which broke out shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Health department officials have already approved the Branch Pike store for a Thursday reopening.
The fate of the dry cleaners, Colonial Square Cleaners, was not immediately made clear. Calls to the shop went unanswered Wednesday morning.
